Trash to Treasure Table

I have been stalking a few of my favorite blogs that turn old outdated furniture into adorable new pieces, and I found a beauty of my own today! Go check out http://www.inthefunlane.com/ her stuff is AMAZING!!! On my way to workout I just happen to glance in the neighborhood and saw this little table. I was going 35 mph so it was literally just a glance. I decided after I got done working out if it was still there I would stop. Well it was and I am so glad. I picked this cute little table up for the best price. FREE BABY!!! As soon as I saw it I knew I had the perfect spot for it. The powder room really needed some personality, and this table was the perfect size. It was fate!





It wasn't on horrible shape just needed some new life. It is actually a piano bench so the top opens up but I think it is really cute as a table.


See pretty darn cute. It only took about 1 hour to peel off the waxy finish, sand a bit, paint and distress. I added the cute little handle just for affect. Isn't it darling??? I had everything I needed at the house so it was 100 percent free!
