****Warning I am not a toe model these are actual toes, not actors****
All you need is a nail color that corresponds with your glitter, it doesn't have to be perfect. As you can see I used some crazy green I had left over from a witch costume. I had some really pretty glitter that I use when I scrapbook. I went with this pretty green in honor of St. Patricks day.
Paint your toes with the base color. Put your foot on a piece of paper to catch the excess glitter. Then simply pour a generous amount on each toe. Tip your foot to get the rest off. Finish up with a clear protector coat and there you go. No it won't last 3 months like the real glitter toes will, but I am crazy like that, I like to change my color alot!
Wanna feel old? Take a picture of your toes. Eeeeegad when did I get wrinkles on my toes? I did just get out of the shower but I am pretty sure those aren't going away!
Enjoy!
Cool, never thought about using my own glitter...my 5 year old is crazy about getting her nails done also.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to report they are still holding up great even after a trip to the pool. Of course now it is getting ready to snow, but I still know my toes look pretty under my boots!
ReplyDeleteCool...Jalynn was wanting a pedicure. We may have to give this a try this weekend.
