A Rin Tin Tin ceiling tile art
I was going to wait to post this tomorrow, but it is so ca-Ute I have to share right now! Prince Charming called on his way home Friday and said there is a garage sale you have to see so get dressed! Boy was he right, I knew I loved him! If I had my camera I would have taken a picture. It was my dream garage sale, an entire driveway full of the most adorable shabby chic pieces I have ever seen. I told her to load everything in my truck I wanted it all. Just kidding, but no really I could have taken it all if I had an endless budget. She wouldn’t let me have her crazy cute chalkboard garage sale sign which is such a cute idea by the way!
I did walk away with a really cute giant whisk, and a bed skirt for the Princess and a big ceiling tile.
Look what I did with ceiling tile!!!
See CA-UTE! It was already cream and all chippy and distressed. How could I not leave with it? I paid $3.00 dollars for it!
Here is a close up of the monogram. I used my cricut to cut the monogram in vinyl and used the negative space like a stencil. I went over it with a little sand paper so it looked like it had always been like this. Ok well besides the fact it was established in the year 2000 but hey it still looks old.
The hardest part of this project is deciding where I will put it. Maybe I will put it above my bed because it makes me smile! It will look great next to the mirror. “wink”
Enjoy!
I am linking up to this fun little party!
